Rager Media accepts submissions only by e-mail. Note: though we're still accepting unsolicited
manuscripts, we're backed up with projects, and will not likely accept new book projects for the time being.
But we'll consider publishing book excerpts, stories, poems, and articles online, including previously
published materials. We're also planning a "notable manuscripts in circulation page," in which we will feature excerpts
from manuscripts which we consider to be highly deserving of publication, but which we don't have the ability to publish at
the moment. The guidelines listed below, then, are for general public reference, but please don't get your hopes up,
because we are an independent press with limited resources, and there's no telling how long this will be the case.

Rager Media is joining an increasing number of publishers who are willing to accept
electronic submissions of manuscripts. This saves authors money on printing and postage. Any author who might
be interested in publishing a title with Rager Media should e-mail the acquisitions editor at submissions@ragermedia.com. You can submit your whole manuscript as an rtf, txt, or Microsoft Word attachment,
or you can submit a sample of significant length.
Full-Length Collections
Rager Media seeks to publish the sort of quality writing one finds in the university
presses, without the frustrating politics of editorial boards and other factors that stand between the brilliant author and
an increasingly sophisticated and college-educated American public.
Chapbooks
Ideal for those who want to publish their first full-length collection of poetry
with a university press, publishing a chapbook of 15-25 pages is a good way to establish a publishing record, while maintaining
your full-length collection's eligibility for book contests.
