Rager Media, Inc. publishes books of high quality fiction and poetry,
and is preparing to start new imprints for mystery novels, childrens's books, and various multimedia ventures.
It seeks
to publish only the best authors, including those from the nation's university and literary presses who are interested in
letting their books be marketed in ways that "high prestige" books are not ordinarily marketed--that is, to a reading public
outside of academia.
Rager Media does not intend to compete with our nation's best university presses, but we recognize
that there are far more authors than there are publishers, and for this reason, even some of our nation's best writers have
a hard time finding their way into print.
Our Mission
Rager Media's goal is to bring the long-neglected talent of poets, fiction writers, and non-fiction authors to a larger public,
capitalizing on the public's growing curiosity about "serious matters."
As with the historically important founding
credo of Poetry magazine, with "open door to ample genius," Rager Media wants to find the best material, regardless of reputation
or publishing history.
